Our Story:

Candid Trucking Inc. wasn't built in a corporate boardroom; it was built on the open road.

Our founder, Gill, started his career just like many of our team members do today: as an independent, hardworking truck driver. Logging countless miles across North America, he learned the ins and outs of the industry from the driver's seat. He experienced firsthand what shippers truly look for—honesty and reliability—and what drivers need to succeed: respect and strong support from dispatch.

As a dedicated family man, Gill set out to build a company in 2015 that reflected his own core values: integrity, transparency, and a relentless commitment to safety. Driven by that vision, he evolved his operations from a single independent truck into what is fast becoming Alberta's premier open-deck and specialized carrier fleet.

Over the years, we have supported customers with open deck transportation, flatbeds, stepdecks, roll-tites, dry vans, RGN trailers, double drops, Super-B’s, maxi trailers, storage solutions, and larger project freight needs. Our dispatch team is the communication center of our operation. They coordinate drivers, equipment, pickup schedules, delivery appointments, route planning, and shipment updates. Their role is to keep freight moving efficiently while ensuring customers remain informed from pickup to delivery.

Safety & Compliance Officers

Our safety and compliance team helps maintain high operating standards across the company. They support driver qualification files, hours-of-service compliance, documentation, safety procedures, inspection follow-ups, and regulatory requirements for Canadian and U.S. transportation.

Customer Support Team

Our customer support team works directly with clients to answer questions, provide shipment updates, confirm load details, and support smooth communication. They help ensure that every customer receives timely, professional, and reliable service.

Operations & Load Planning

In-house Fleet & Equipment Support (Certified Mechanics)

Our fleet support team helps keep trucks and trailers ready for service. They coordinate inspections, maintenance follow-ups, equipment availability, trailer assignments, and yard organization so that freight can move safely and on schedule.

Documentation & Administrative Support

Our administrative team supports paperwork, billing, permits, customs-related documentation coordination, carrier files, and customer records. Their work helps keep shipments organized and supports smooth service for both customers and drivers.
